TN Weed Science Society
About TNWSS...
The Tennessee Weed Science Society was formed:
- To promote and advance the discipline of weed science in the State of Tennessee, and elsewhere, and to create a statewide awareness of problems, solutions, research, and knowledge regarding weed science.
- To facilitate graduate instruction in weed science by providing opportunities for graduate student stipends and fellowships, travel grants, and providing materials to improve the educational experience of weed science graduate students.
- To augment and improve the weed science faculty and staff experience by providing opportunities for professional development activities, travel grants, equipment grants, technical support grants, and other avenues so as to recruit to and retain in Tennessee highly qualifies weed science faculty.
